The multiple flavors, which are experienced are complex and come across individually on the palette with a predominant smokiness. "Nothing beats fresh olive oil from local farmers in Croatia. I ran out within a few weeks after returning to MN and searched for the closest thing and read about Istriana here. I tried this and the flavor was out of this world. Mild burn and fruitiness makes it so good just alone with some sea salt and fresh bread. I wish I could get this autoshipped monthly :) I think I have a problem with olive oil. I could drink the stuff."
