Buttery and Herbaceous — Pure Salonenque

This extra virgin olive oil is produced exclusively from Salonenque variety olives grown on Estoublon estate.

Fresh, herbaceous, buttery and round, the oil has aromas of fresh cut grass and herbs, ideal on delicate garden greens, steamed vegetables and potatoes and is particularly excellent on ice cream and strawberry salad with basil.

Wonderful Discovery

"Wonder oil. Not too much bite and not too much difference between the two oils—both on the mild side. I really like the bottle. The photo doesn’t do it justice (old cell phone camera). It’s wonderfully robust, sculpted, clear bottle, which I prefer because you can enjoy the liquid gold visual effect of this wonderful oil. I keep it in a dark corner of my kitchen counter, so light is of no detrimental consequence."

Chateau d'Estoublon Salonenque

"I grew up next to the "chateau" so I know their olive oils pretty well. Since I grew up in Provence, I have tested other producers olive oil but they are difficult to find in the US. Love this one and all the memories that it brings back. When I go back home I try to stop by and also buy some of their wines."

Le Chateau d’Estoubion one of favorite!

"This region of France is absolutely most inspiring and interesting to visit and if one goes stay several weeks! The oil olive is very subtle, delicate and long finish on the plate! Expensive to some but to us a memory in bottle and the taste of passion! Thank you Olive oil lovers for the opportunity to purchase this beautiful oil…"

Q&A

MADE FOR YOU BY

Estoublon

Estoublon is located on the southern slopes of the Alpilles, in the heart of Provence, where their orchards and vineyards have been classified A.O.P. Les Baux de Provence since 1995. With 212 acres of olive trees and 47 acres of vineyards, Estoublon is rightly considered to be one of the most outstanding sites in the region.

The Grossane, Béruguette, Saloneque, Bouteillan and Picholine olives are the five varieties produced by the Chateau and are harvested by hand from early November to mid-December. All of their olives are extra virgin, cold extracted and pressed in their mill.
